A Toast to Spring: The April Blossom Cocktail
April is a month of renewal—when the first blooms appear and the air hums with the promise of warmer days. It’s the perfect time for cocktails that mirror the season: bright, floral, and alive with fresh flavours. Enter the April Blossom Spritz, a drink that captures spring in a glass.
With its blend of citrus, bubbly, and elderflower, this cocktail brings to mind blooming gardens, patio brunches, and sunny afternoons. The elderflower liqueur adds a delicate floral sweetness, while the gin provides a herbal backbone, and the sparkling wine gives it that celebratory fizz.
Whether you’re toasting Easter, hosting a brunch, or simply soaking up the sunshine, this cocktail is the perfect companion for the longer, brighter days ahead.
Bonus: If you prefer a lower-ABV version, swap gin for vodka or reduce it to 1 oz and add more sparkling wine.
