Handmade by Victoria Distillers, Empress 1908 is created in small-batch copper-pot stills and infused with a unique blend of botanicals, including a signature Empress tea. Butterfly pea blossom, discovered in a bespoke Empress tea blend, provides the gin’s vibrant indigo hue. This natural colour shifts to shades of lavender, pink, or fuchsia with different mixers, creating a dynamic sensory experience. The gin’s profile combines London Dry elements with a modern twist, marrying citrus notes with a warm, earthy undertone from the pea blossom. With no artificial colours or stabilizers, this artisanal gin is both beautiful and distinctive, making it the ideal base for the Q1908 and other refined cocktails.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Empress 1908 Gin
- 3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz. Egg White
- Edible Flowers (garnish)
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
- Shake and strain to remove ice.
- Shake again without the ice.
- Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with edible flowers.
