As an Island owned and operated business, Liquor Plus takes pride in showcasing our local Island producers.

For the Santa’s Little Helper Cocktail you’ll need:

Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for approx 10-12 seconds. Double strain into Collins glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wheel and thyme sprig.

Honey/Thyme Syrup

  • 250 g. honey
  • 250 ml hot water
  • 5-6 thyme sprigs

Heat honey and water in a pot on the stove until simmering, add thyme and allow to simmer on low heat for five minutes. Strain into mason jar and keep in fridge for up to two weeks.

Message from the teacher:

“In partnership with Liquor Plus, today we’re making Santa’s Little Helper, a Christmasy variation of the classic Tom Collins Cocktail. I used Wayward Distillery’s Raspberry Gin Liqueur with some fresh lemon juice, cranberry juice, honey/thyme syrup (recipe below) and topped it with some Fever Tree Ginger Beer. Please support our local producers by heading to Liquor Plus and picking up these spirits to make yourself Santa’s Little Helper today!
